The latest DLG model features a flying wing design that I have been developing for years. Flap size may require adjustment as they were overly sensitive on the prototype, seen in the video. Optimal construction methods include creating full CNC molds and molding a hollow core or milling foam cores and vacuum bagging them. Electronics and slots necessitate additional reinforcements. Alternatively, CNC balsa flaps and elevons can be vacuum bagged with the rest of the wing. D-47 servos are recommended for control surfaces, while the CG requires experimentation; suggestions are provided in the Rhino file.
