Thermacell refill adapter
thingiverse
This is a thermacell adapter designed to refill a thermacell butane tank. First, remove the one-way valve that prevents refilling by following the instructions here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRjp-3PJuNQ. Next, purchase a low-cost butane stove tank such as this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Butane-GasOne-Canisters-Portable-Camping/dp/B001D7FYCI. To connect the two tanks, you'll need an adapter. This small adapter fills that gap, bridging the thermacell and butane stove canister. Place the thermacell tank on one end, the butane stove canister on the other, put the thermacell in its normal position, and invert the butane stove canister. Then press them together, allowing gravity to guide the butane from one tank to the other. Voila! You'll have affordable butane for your thermacell. Enjoy a fun, mosquito-free summer! Edit: I re-uploaded the files with proper rotation, so you won't need to rotate them before printing. No supports are required. The top part, which features the pin, is designed for the thermacell side. This adapter is also compact enough to fit under the normal butane tank cap, ensuring it's easy to store and won't get lost.
