You can use this manion finger tractioner to do the PROM with a gentle traction at the PIP joint. Fix it to the DIP with kinesio tape or normal tape. It is very useful during PIP fractures rehab because you avoid making pressure onto the finger of the patient (the area near the nail is very sensible) and the traction forces are better distributed (and you avoid making a snare if you only use the tape). It can be attached to a rubber band to make some resistance during AROM. It is also useful to the patient to better make the home exercises.
