Theodosius II was a Byzantine Emperor who ruled from 408 to 450. He is famous for enforcing the Theodosian law code and building the Theodosian Walls of Constantinople, which has become an iconic landmark. As emperor, he also faced two major christological disputes: Nestorianism and Eutychianism, both of which were sparked during his reign.
