I see the scutoid as a bold and uncharted geometrical shape that lets me experiment with its fresh geometry, showcasing its stunning beauty, so modern, so mysterious, yet so ever-present in our lives. My investigation is also a quest to understand how people perceive a contemporary life form, maligned today, yet ubiquitous in daily existence, to the point where it becomes an integral part of who we are. The Scutoid Series offers an intimate glimpse into what holds human life together, often without us even realizing it. With this artwork, I bring these two realities into sharp focus.
