In 1934, massive construction efforts commenced for the iconic Minsk opera house, a masterpiece designed by renowned Soviet architect I.G. Langbarda, who incorporated the bold elements of Soviet constructivism into its design. The site chosen for this grand structure was once home to the oldest Trinity Bazaar, which had been painstakingly demolished. After an extended period of construction, the long-awaited opening ceremony took place on March 10, 1938, marking the debut of the new Minsk Opera House.
