The Wolf in Brussels, Belgium
myminifactory
A bright Saturday in August, I'm eager to capture some photos, starting with the trunks of fallen trees scattered throughout the area since the beginning of the month, a temporary installation to promote the Month of Art. The gardens, designed as a "visual springboard" by landscape architect René Pechère, were carefully planted, flowerbeds protected by low box hedges, and walkways created between two plane trees. New sculptures have become a delight for passersby, with The Wolf being a particular favorite among kids, who love sitting atop it as if riding a wolf, a blue one at that! Parents quickly install their children astride, and soon they're ready for a photo. This sculpture placed in a public square appears to be just one of many playful sculptures carefully designed to interact with both their environment and visitors. This object is part of "Scan The World".
