The Wizard's Outpost
myminifactory
My entry for the Townbuilder Competition is the home of a renowned wizard. The outpost includes a lower floor for storage and to be used as a rudimentary workshop, a living quarters (with ladder to attic space), the primary tower with spiral staircases leading up to the wizard's observatory, a bridge across to the tall tower with a lift to the lower chamber (containing some of the wizard's most interesting experiments and a portal) and a long ladder up to a spiral bookcase/staircase combo on the way to the study at the top. The Wizard's Outpost was printed on an Ender 3 Pro and an Anet A8 out of PLA (and also a Phrozen Sonic mini 4k for the scatter). It was designed fully in Townbuilder with heavy use of perfectionist mode for all the custom objects (staircases, portal, lift, etc.). I also used the OpenLock attachments and pegs to make it easier to print, assemble, and for easier storage. I should also note that it was printed at full scale to be compatible with 28mm minis. I wanted to make something that wasn't just a set piece and instead had a fully playable interior. This is the first build of this magnitude that I have undertaken and am extremely pleased with how it came out. I hope you enjoy as well!(Not all the files were able to be uploaded, the underground lab was left out due to file size constraints).
