The Brilliant Dragon Daedalus draws inspiration from the legendary figure of Greek mythology, Daedalus. He is a master architect, craftsman, and artist, revered for his wisdom, intelligence, and incredible power. People are drawn to him for advice, and he often offers his expertise to help humans navigate catastrophic situations; he's a benevolent dragon. In Greek mythology, Daedalus was a renowned architect, craftsman, and artist, celebrated as a symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and authority. He is the father of Icarus and the uncle of Perdix, possibly also the father of Iapyx, although this remains unclear. Daedalus designed and constructed the Labyrinth for King Minos of Crete, but shortly after its completion, King Minos had Daedalus imprisoned within the labyrinth. Daedalus and his son Icarus devised a daring plan to escape using wings made of wax that Daedalus had created. They successfully escaped, but Icarus ignored his father's warnings and flew too close to the sun. The wax melted, causing Icarus to plummet to his death. This devastating loss left Daedalus heartbroken, yet instead of giving up, he bravely flew to the island of Sicily.
