Print out the entire globe! You can print it all at once or in two parts as a detachable case with the equator serving as the split line. It stands sturdy on its axis at the South Pole. Take a closer look at this model in real-time and texture here: https://sketchfab.com/models/712c2de7426f4eb59aa101d21cd72492 Would you like to add some color? The 3D print model is available over at Shapeways here: https://www.shapeways.com/product/LFWU8VM6X/the-whole-world?li=shop-results&optionId=55511618 Of course, you can also paint it yourself and use the Sketchfab model as a reference. Update: Added a split-filled version that should print without supports too. Instructions Print Whole World-North/South-Final: Two pieces for this case-friendly split model. World-Full: Printing the entire globe. World-North/South-Filled-NoSupport: Two hollow-free non-support needed parts for better printing experience. I highly recommend printing in split format. Note that warping can make it difficult to print as one piece, but if you do choose that route, don't forget to make sure each connector piece prints at least twice so you have one for each hemisphere's south side to allow the top half of the sphere easily open and close around.
