The Who Logo Plate

This is a substantial logo plate for the band "The Who". It's a "glue together" item meant to be printed in four different colors, as shown below. A tiny 0.01-inch gap has been designed into the rings, along with a corner radius at the bottom edges of the rings (to prevent first-layer swell), so it should assemble nicely assuming your initial layer and nozzle gap are properly set up. Print Settings Printer: Craftbot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layers Infill: 20% Triangular Notes: I created this using four top and bottom layers, as well as three shells in PLA. The slicing was done with S3D utilizing "concentric infill" on the external layers. That's what gives the unique surface texture on the rings and text. Post-Printing I carefully bonded these components together using Super Glue (CA gel). I laid down a piece of wax paper on a flat surface, applied the CA to the ID of the bores, and popped in the rings. The text was glued on "by eye". How I Designed This The logo text was essentially traced from an online image.
