The Well of Moses showcases the perfect use of International Gothic mixed with northern realism techniques. This belongs to a calvary and it is the only remaining part of it, the base. The prophets sculpted by the sculptor Claus Sluter announce through their facial expressions the passion of Christ. The prophets are accompanied by angels surrounding them. The original polychromic features have been restored thanks to a work conducted between 1999 and 2003.
