The Wedge
thingiverse
Love hurts, but I'm thrilled with the new UM2+ feeder - it's a game-changer! However, my poor finger was in agony from constantly pressing the lever to release pressure on the filament. To solve this issue, I quickly designed a clever little wedge that fits snugly under the lever, taking all the strain off my finger. This nifty design is perfect for printing with two shells and 100% infill - it's incredibly quick and efficient. By the way, take note of the expertly crafted hole at the bottom of the wedge; it's designed to accommodate a small, round 3x3mm neodym magnet that will snap into place with the printer's metallic parts. Just be aware that I printed the wedge with three shells, which resulted in a slightly too-tight hole - but hey, it still works like a charm! **Print Settings** * **Printer Brand:** Ultimaker * **Printer:** Ultimaker 2 * **Rafts:** No * **Supports:** No * **Resolution:** 0.2mm * **Infill:** 100% * **Notes:** Print with two shells and 100% infill for a speedy, high-quality print.
