I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project. Initially, I began with an insulated design that enables drinks to remain hot or cold. A watertight lid with a gasket was incorporated. The mouthpiece can be easily opened and closed via a quarter-turn; nubs on either side lock it into position. In the open position, a hole forms in the lid assembly, allowing air escape while pouring water through the mouthpiece. I had numerous ideas for the exterior pattern, but this one was my favorite. It could be machined from 18/8 stainless steel or over-molded rubber for better grip. The lid components are injection molded using a softer material for the twisting mechanism. Capacity is approximately 23-24 oz. I hope you appreciate it!
