The title of this piece pays homage to The Visitation, a biblical event where the Virgin Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth to share news of Jesus' impending birth. Epstein captures the figure with an air of humility so profound that it humbles anyone expecting grandeur or elaborate gestures from his sculpture. This statue was intended as part of a pair, but unfortunately, its counterpart remains incomplete. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to build a digital repository of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
