The Vending Machine Project- Nichol's Models
thingiverse
In our Multimedia class we were given a challenge to make 3D printed toys that would fit in a vending machine capsule. The purpose of the project was to learn about 3D modeling and 3D printing and share this with our school and beyond. Each student was responsible for creating 5 designs, and learned about how to design models that don’t need support material or adhesion. My models were made during demos in class to show students how to use Tinkercad. This was first time using Tinkercad. I found it a little challenging to learn the interface of Tinkercad, but now I am really enjoying it! Models 1 and 2 are Droids that I designed with inspiration from Star Wars. The monogrammed coffee mug was a demo project to show students about overhangs and increasing the printability of their models.
