The Vending Machine Project- Fred The Frog Remix

In our Multimedia class we were given a challenge to make 3D printed toys that would fit in a vending machine capsule. The purpose of the project was to learn about 3D modeling and 3D printing and share this with our school and beyond. Each student was responsible for creating 5 designs, and learned about how to design models that don’t need support material or adhesion. I made these Fred’s as I saw a great deal of people making them as part of internet culture and it sparked my interest. It was so much fun seeing all the creative hats they all decided to put on this one frog. That’s why I made him, well that and he’s adorable The first model is Fred The Frog Farmer, a sweet little frog model working on the farm. The second model is Fred The Frog’s Birthday Party, a sweet little frog model celebrating his birthday. The third model is Fred The Frog The Mayor of Flower Town, a sweet little froh model living out his life as a mayor The fourth model is Fred The Frog Cowboy, a sweet little frog model traveling in the wild west The fifth model is Fred The Frog Miner, a sweet little frog model working down in the mines to find riches Instructions Print using no less than 20% fill.
