The ultimate Z Brace for Sidewinder X1
thingiverse
There are several things I didn't find in the reinforcements already done. So, I did another one. Features: - The supports screw into both sides of the housing, with the case clamped firmly between them. - Screws that tighten the supports wrap around the rod (other reinforcements offset theirs towards the outside angle, creating an imbalance). - The rod slides smoothly on both sides: no forcing is required to clamp it in place. - A massive support system uses standard screws and nuts, eliminating T-nuts. Rod Options: 10mm or 8mm Recommended Rod Size: 10mm Assembly: Only a few pieces are needed per side (5 total). Easy assembly and disassembly make this design user-friendly. The bottom cover can be removed without taking apart the entire system. Design Highlights: Cool, well-designed reinforcement. Specifically made for X1 v4 printers. Screws Required: - 4 x M5x30 Hex Head - 6 x M5x30 Flat Head + 6 Nuts - 4 x M4x80 (Hex or Flat Head)
