Since the SIMAGIC Haptic Pedals Reactor release there has been a lot of interest in FFB on pedals at an affordable price. As a cheaper DIY alternative I have created a generic housing for a small vibration speaker as an alternative to the Dayton Audio TT25 puck. The generic speaker weighs the same as the TT25 puck so shouldn't feel any different but looks a lot better. This version contains all the parts for the Heusinkveld Sprint pedals but I have included a GENERIC cap that can be modified to include other mounting options. The construction is as follows:Take the "Transducer holder.stl" and insert the "Transducer spacer small.stl" part. (Snip out a small section for wire to come through.Insert the vibration speaker.Insert the "Transducer spacer.stl"Place on "Transducer holder brake pedal.stl" or "Transducer holder Throttle pedal.stl"(OPTIONAL) Place "Transducer back plate (optional).stl" underneath casing.Insert bolts and fix in place with nylock nuts. These parts have been designed to print with a 0.8mm nozzle as the finish is fine and prints much quicker. There is a slight gap for the vibration speaker to fit so depending on tolerances you may need to apply a small strip of duct tape to the speaker before inserting to get a snug fit.The design uses multiple parts giving you options for multi colour finishes.Vibration Speakerhttps://amzn.to/40IqJoEUser SimHub to control the speaker.https://www.simhubdash.com/Any feedback is welcome.
