The Ultimate Spool Holder Base

I needed a solution to keep my spool holders stable on a slippery tabletop. I have two sizes of filament rolls, so this platform fits either one perfectly. Adding some non-slip tape to the bottom makes it rock-solid secure. I'd like to thank Filamentry for sharing the original project that inspired me. 11/17/2017 I've added a version 2 of the base, which provides more space to position the third bearing bracket. This new design can accommodate both wide rolls (71mm) and smaller ones, like the sample roll I received with my printer.
