This is a parametric smart desk organizer. I designed this for my daughter who has very limited space available on her desk. You specify the dimensions of the pen and some properties of the desk organizer and the rest is automated, including ensuring that the base extends past the center of mass so it does not tip over. A higher angle will make a taller organizer but create a smaller footprint. A lower angle does the opposite. If you do not want individual slots, you can enlarge the pen width to make multi-pen slots. ––––––– Update 2020/4/28 -Added the ability to create a tray instead of or in addition to the base. -Added the ability to merge top otherwise useless row to create a horizontal compartment. -Fixed some trigonometry.
