The ultimate MMU2 filament drybox

<p>So it came a moment when I decided I needed a drybox. Problem is I have a MMU2, that is, I have to keep dry not one but five filament spools while using them. The cheapest option I found was getting 5 SunLu filament dryboxes and that was roughly 200€. Pretty inconvenient. Also, didn´t like all those wires to be plugged, and moreover, those superwide PRUSA spools seemed to fit nowhere…</p><p>Therefore I bought a big plastic box (12€), a 20 watt reptile enclosure warming mat (12€ - links below), a thermometer/higrometer (2€), twenty bearings (5€) and a few meters of PTFE tubing (8€), and I designed and made what I consider is the ultimate MMU2 filament drybox.</p><p>I reccomend using PETG for the parts of this print.</p><p>The parts included in the design are:</p><ol><li>The spool holders (I've included some step files here, so you can adjust the design exactly to the width of the box you are using).</li><li>The filament pass-through parts</li><li>The electric cable and warmer regulator pass-through parts</li><li>The regulator clamp to attach it to the side of the box</li><li>The gasket, to be printed in TPU, to improve the air tightness of the box. Also a step file here to model the part according to your box for a better seal</li><li>Silicagel containers, to be placed in the hubs of the spools.
