The Ultimate Fish House (TUFH)
thingiverse
My Betta is a surface sleeper, who for some reason appreciates having a pitch black box to float around in. This house was designed to accommodate both of those things. I've filled the top section with java moss for him to sleep on, and he occasionally will just chill out in the bottom section where it's nice and dark. There's a window on the side closest to the glass so that you can keep tabs on your fish. * It's attached to the side of the aquarium by 4x Eheim Jager suction cups (product number 7271100). * The divider is removable for cleaning and ease of printing. * There's a window on the side closest to the glass so that you can keep tabs on your fish * No supports required (though you may need to clean up the layering at the top of the window) I encourage you to follow best practices when introducing a product like this to your aquarium: * Make sure that the entrance to the house is wide enough to accommodate any and all fish in your aquarium (approx. 3cm in diameter) * Make sure any adhesive you use is aquarium-safe, and try to remove it thoroughly post-printing * Remember that prints are rarely watertight and will absorb liquid, including any cleaning agents you use to clean the final product. If you have used anything to clean up the print with, I'd recommend soaking the print for a while before introducing it to the aquarium. * Be sure to remove any stringing and deburr any sharp edges from the final product.
