The ULTIMATE Ender 3 Pro Rear Electronics Case Upgrade Kit
thingiverse
I found multiple upgrades to put the mainboard in the back of the Ender 3 Pro but each of them has its issues, so I combined the best of all of them to end up with the ULTIMATE Ender 3 Pro Rear Electronics Case. Wiring diagram and assembly instructions coming soon. CHANGELOG Added m3 nut inserts where possible. (The left side was not possible because no step files were provided by the original author) REASON: Screwing into the plastic was hard and not reliable Added a more contoured plate for the sd card and USB port. REASON: the old model would allow you to accidentally stick your fingers inside the enclosure and damage the mainboard. Removed tl smothers to allow for buck converters to be added. REASON, as far as I know, the Ender 3s are now shipping with silent mainboards eliminating the need for them. It is also designed so you can have a 12v rail and a 5v rail coming from the buck converters to power accessories. (PRO TIP: If you are trying to adjust vref on some of the newer boards, some of them will only allow you to adjust it with a ceramic screwdriver. I learned that the hard way by having to return two boards to Creality before finding the problem) Added custom Ender lid. REASON: This was just for aesthetics Added Raspberry Pi lid and fan for airflow. REASON: This would allow for cooling of the mainboard. (Not the logo, the fan!) Fixed scaling of the lid for the left side
