The Twin Lamp

Angelo Segatto's design is inspired by music and art, with the Twin Lamp featuring two sides reflecting these themes. The spherical build houses a bulb, which casts unique shadows on the walls depending on the side illuminated. The plastic casing is designed to shape the shadow, displaying the Mona Lisa on the art side and a person listening to music on the musical side. The top cap is also spherical with two sets of eyes that light up when the cap is placed horizontally. The lamp can be customized by changing the bulb color, transforming it into anything from a ninja to your imagination's creation. However, Angelo encountered an issue rendering the shadow casting in SolidWorks. To enhance the experience, remove the inner casing for a full lamp effect or leave it in place for a cooler look.
