The Tudor Rose Box (with secret lock)
myminifactory
My latest design takes me back to my English roots, and I'm proud to call it the Tudor Rose box. To create an authentic effect of heavy wood carving popular during the Tudor period was a real challenge for me. The box features a secret lock - a clever touch that adds to its charm. However, some slicers were experiencing issues with the delicate vines, which were thin and often missing them altogether. To address this problem, I've uploaded two new versions of the box body and front slider panel with thicker vines. These revised files are available for download: box_body_thicker_vines.stl and front_slider_panel_thicker_vines.stl. If you're having trouble slicing the older files, be sure to try these updated versions. Additionally, I've uploaded a new STL file for the rose that should slice much more smoothly than the original. To ensure a smooth assembly process, I've provided detailed instructions on how to assemble this model. You can find them at http://www.instructables.com/id/The-Tudor-Rose-Box-Assembly-Instructions/.
