The Troll Box

The Troll Box

I got my hands on The Troll Arduino compatible Practical Joke board made by Patrick Thomas Mitchell, and it's currently live on Kickstarter - but not for long, just a couple of days. I was able to get mine early to help write some code for it, and I decided it also needed a box. You can check out the project details on GitHub at https://github.com/kd8bxp/TheTroll. The box is pretty good, if I do say so myself, but it could use some improvements. I tried to add a "break" between the power jack and the power terminal, but for whatever reason my printer keeps breaking it off mid-print - fortunately, it doesn't seem to cause any other problems. I moved the USB power jack hole over a bit and made it a little wider, making it easier to get the board in and out of the box. I'm happy with the box, but I'm not all that great at making lids, so I leave that up to you - please share any improvements you come up with. One thing to consider is whether a lid might block the LDR too much - that's something for you to decide. In any case, please support Patrick on Kickstarter - every project I've backed from him has either been on time or early, and he's great at communicating with his backers. Thanks for reading, and I'd love to see any improvements you come up with!
