The Trapezoid: Ninja Warrior Series
thingiverse
Welcome to the most unusual ninja hold so far: The Trapezoid. On the hold (bad puns), The Trapezoid is an obstacle that tests both precision grabs and raw finger strength. Due to it's two nubs on the downward slopes, it offers an interesting challenge of grabs. If overshot from a jump, it can be difficult to recover due to only four inches of depth. And, due to the nubs' small size, it might be difficult to hang on in the first place! On the underside of the hold, there is space to place one hand inside--not two. The bottom part of this hold is meant to challenge the fingertips, with roughly one inch of space to fit a hand on each ledge. As well, users face the added challenge of placing their hand through the underside of the hold (or through the side), which further puts precision to the test. This hold can be assembled with a 3/8" eye bolt (approximately 3 inches long), as well as a 3/8" x 1.00" washer and 3/8" hex nut. The bolt can be screwed in from the top, and then the washer can be placed in the circular slot in the bottom, followed by the hex nut (this will need to be tightened with a nut driver/wrench to ensure a tight overall fit). Good luck with The (dreaded) Trapezoid!
