The tiny (spinning) World Globe
thingiverse
A compact World Globe that can be built from multiple parts or printed in a single piece. It also features "just the globe" models and blank globes. You can learn about the globe's creation at: **[Enely's 3D - The World Globe](https://enelys3d.netlify.app/The_World_Globe/)**. Print each half separately to avoid support material, then assemble them together for a seamless fit. It's best not to clean the parts until after they're glued together, when the cut will be nearly invisible. To attach the globe to its stand, cut off some filament and use it as a rod. The globe spins smoothly in its stand and can even be used as an unusual finger spinner. Yesterday, I had to let go of my globe and hand it over to the kids so they could decorate their Sylvanian Families study room with it, as shown in the attached picture. You can follow my ongoing "work in progress" at: **[Enely's 3D - Work in Progress](https://enelys3d.netlify.app/Ongoing/)**. Edit 2020-07-16: I've added files for a blank globe on request, including one blank globe with stand, one globe with a hole, and one half globe with a hole.
