The Time=Money Illusion (Tensegrity)

My take on tensegrity. I stared in full disbelief at the first tensegrity models I came across, and I felt compelled to put my own spin on them. For instance, check out this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4016551. The bottom and top halves of this hourglass are connected by four regular strings - nothing more. All the parts of this hourglass can be printed separately and fit together seamlessly. The STL files for the composite models are there for reference, and you're welcome to use them in other objects. Just split the STLs after importing into your slicer, and you'll find the parts that can be colored separately. How to make this: - Print 2 GlassFull models. - Print 2 Woodbase models. - Print MoneyPileDrop and MoneyPile-split (it makes sense to print them on one plate if you're using a MMU2S). - Assemble the upper and bottom parts (Wood+MoneyPile+Glass). - Fiddle with the wires until everything is secure.
