Uploaded via Unity3D plugin. The Thinker is a famous bronze sculpture by French artist Auguste Rodin, typically positioned atop a stone pedestal. The work depicts an oversized nude male figure seated upon a rock, his chin resting on one hand as if lost in profound thought, often symbolizing philosophy. There are approximately 28 full-scale castings of the figure, standing at about 186 centimeters (73 inches) tall, though not all were produced during Rodin's lifetime or under his direct supervision; various other versions also exist, including several plaster studies and posthumous castings in a range of sizes. Rodin initially conceived the figure as part of another work in 1880, but the first monumental bronze casting did not appear until 1904.
