The Thingummies are small but impressive creatures. They live in social groups, often working together to support and strengthen their weak members as they help them grow strong. They light up the darkness at night with a vibrant glow that shines bright for all to see! If you'd like to get more familiar with these wonderful creatures, check out my Thingummy collection, aptly titled "The Thingummies". Here are the basics of how this incredible creation comes together: It's built from two main parts: The printed base body is a sturdy structure that measures 15 cm in height and 8 cm in width. The battery-powered light source adds an extra layer of functionality - I chose to use Ikea's Molgan battery box, but you can easily substitute it with one of your own as long as you scale the printed body accordingly. When you're printing out this project, keep a close eye on how things turn out at the spherical foundation.
