Using C4D (trial version will suffice), importing a .skp file automatically generates a textures folder adjacent to it. In 3ds Max, import the .skp file to see textures stored within the ..3dsMaxsceneassetsimages directory. You can also export fbx with embed media option checked, creating a folder of textures together. For Rhinoceros 3D users (also requiring trial), importing a .skp file opens up Material editor; clicking on any material's texture yields access to all textures in the ..AppDataLocalTempembedded_files directory.
