Carpenter ant colony setup designed specifically for Crematogaster scutellaris ants but suitable for Camponotus species as well. This nest does not include a water system, so it's essential to add one externally. To assemble the nest, insert 2-3-4-5 or 6 pieces of cork with 10mm thickness into each chamber. I plan to use two 5mm thick cork pieces in each compartment for optimal results. Chamber 1 should remain empty to facilitate a smooth start-up process for the ants. The nest features stairs and decorative textures, but these elements are purely cosmetic and can be omitted if desired, resulting in a faster and cheaper print with less detail.
