Welcome to the legendary Paulwall Teapot, proudly holding the title of largest teapot in all of Paulwall, as well as its most abandoned site. Who would willingly abandon their prized possession like that? Clearly, an individual with significant investment ties to Paulwall for a considerable period is likely to blame. The teapot itself boasts a remarkable history, built way back in 1922 and once serving as the primary fuel stop on Route One, providing crucial refueling services for traveling motorists. Notably, it has been in operation longer than most people have been alive today. Unfortunately, much like many other historic structures scattered throughout Paulwall, it fell victim to disuse. Nonetheless, this is one of the few remaining buildings still standing on its once bustling block. Historically speaking, you might be aware that two motels used to reside directly across from it; unfortunately, both are long gone. A once-thriving neon-tinted diner sat right next door but also ceased operations in due time. The entire surrounding area is riddled with an array of empty stores and houses, most likely victims of neglect over the years. Further behind this iconic teapot lies remnants of industrial structures that no longer stand; however, these ruins make way for a picturesque view of downtown Paulwall from a unique vantage point all the way up to the nearby train tracks. While night falls in this area might prove somewhat eerie, be cautious never venturing solo and keep your vehicle securely locked at all times. Pits on each side of what once was the gas pumps showcase the location of now non-existent canopy shelters, while original retro-style pumps have given way to new replacements due to frequent changes in ownership. Having been left unattended for over two decades, the entire Paulwall teapot now remains a stark reminder of bygone days and better times gone. Enjoy exploring this relic, and kindly rate it afterwards.
