I would recommend these pieces if you wanted to print the entire thing with FDM, as it provides clean, flat edges.

I've also provided some pre-hollowed models for the small format version. Simply use the version with -HOLLOWED at the end, hit slice, add some drainage holes, and you're good to go!

There are larger blade pieces (split into 3 instead of 6), with bigger FDM machines in mind, and also a one piece hilt, with larger resin printers in mind. These can be found in a ZIP file called Sword-of-Gryffindor-Large-Format-Pieces.zip.

There is also a one piece sword for those with belt printers. This has been split vertically into two parts, and I have had someone test slice for a CR30, and they said it will print just fine. (Look for the CR30-BETA ZIP)

The gem pieces can either be printed with clear resin, and tinted (or transparent filament), or they can be cast in resin afterwards. It's up to you!

For more information, see the image breakdowns above!

There are duel 3mm holes which run the length of the sword. You will need to acquire some 3mm rods to assemble everything. Around 1m in length should do the trick.

The larger blade pieces (001-003) are all 30cm or less in height.

As always, I'm happy to assist where I can. If you are stuck, or have a question, please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer asap.

THESE FILES ARE PROVIDED FOR FREE ON A NON-COMMERCIAL LICENSE - PLEASE DO NOT SELL PRINTS OR COPIES OF THESE FILES

Category: Props
