The Acheulean hand axe, one of history's earliest and widespread tools, first emerged 2 million years ago and was used for a multitude of purposes including gently crushing plant fibers to violently bashing heads, a Stone Age Swiss Army Knife. This model allows you to print your own Acheulean hand axe replica based on a 3D scan of an actual artifact. It comes in two versions: one with an integrated stand for easy printing and display, or cut off the stand if desired. Finish by rubbing an acetone-soaked paper towel to remove rough spots and add luster. The second version includes only the axe for incorporation into personal projects or printing alone. Remember, no head bashing!
