This is a simple exhaust port designed to eliminate ABS fumes and particles effectively. It can be installed inside or outside of a 3D printer enclosure, utilizing activated carbon pellets that are easily accessible at pet stores and any HEPA filter material. I've even used a doctor's or nurse's face mask as a substitute in a pinch. Since my enclosure is located in my garage, which doubles as a wood shop, I need to prevent dust from entering my enclosure as well. To assemble the exhaust port, simply fill the "port" with activated charcoal pellets and then secure it with the cap. If you're installing the port on the outside of the enclosure, place a piece of HEPA filter between the cap and the port to ensure that dust doesn't enter the charcoal chamber. Then, attach the entire assembly to a 12V 40mm PC fan using bolts that pass through the enclosure wall. On the other hand, if you're installing the port on the inside of the enclosure, place the HEPA filter between the interior wall and the fan to prevent dust from entering the enclosure.
