The Stick
prusaprinters

So my reason for entering the contest with a literal Stick-figure lol.
Simple nostalgia! With an important message from the past!
Remember that stick you picked up when you were little, it could be anything from a sword to a magical wand, endless possibilities with just a nudge of imagination.
For me it was a dragontail that I put on my green bike so it felt like I was riding a dragon lol
And in these times when we isolate ourselves it could be important to remind ourselves of the simple fact that we already have the most powerful tool, for making fun things appear, resting on top of our shoulders. So if you have nothing planned, nothing to see or listen to... Just lean back and close your eyes and daydream for a bit. Chase the boredom away with your mighty Excalibur that you lost so many moons ago, dispel it with your magical wand... or beat it with a stick if your imagination ain't that great ;D.
Or put your imagination to the test and dream up a nifty solution to post in this contest!
I wish you all a fun time ;)

Print instructions

So now for some instructions
The instructions below is based on a Prusa i3 MK3S - printer
My figure can be printed without supports, I tested on a prototype that was 10% smaller than the current one.

If you use my gcode:
It might be wise to turn down the speed closer to the top since the parts are a bit thinner up there i.e. the leaves. Myself I turned the printspeed down to around 40% (by the knob on the printer). But the movement speed from point A to B did not change much. Which resulted in the upper leaves swaying quite a bit. However, for me the print was still a success because the leaves just bent right back into the right position. I used petg white from colorfabb, that brand of filament is quite flexible/bendable as in that it does not snap in two if I bend it and will not distort if I use normal force on it.

The gcode is basically on super speed mode or stupid fast (SF) as I have noted in the name, I used settings provided by Makers Muse in a YouTube video for how to print faster, but with a change from 0.3 to 0.2mm in layerhight. I also think that I added a bit of extra thickness to the walls. Normally this speed setting should not be used for prints with fine details.

If you have the time, or if you know that your current filament cant print fine details that wont snap if they are bent a little, or if you use a different printer, I would suggest you take it slower than me.
