This is my first attempt at taking an image and programmatically making a cad model. The eventual goal is to have a full 3D printable part but I think this part currently WILL NOT print well. All of the code I have been writing is written in python and takes in an image and translates it to being a cad model with a few operations. Welcome to hear suggestions for improvement and if you want to see any new models. Applying a gaussian filter might improve the printing properties.
