The Stack - Modular Raspberry Pi Case

A customizable case for Raspberry Pi modules allows users to print individual components and assemble them into a tailored enclosure. Designed primarily for headless home servers or NAS applications, these cases lack openings for HDMI cables. This modular design supports nearly all Raspberry Pi modules intended for server use. Available Components: - A holder for the Raspberry Pi 4 module - A holder for the Raspberry Pi 3B module - A holder for the Raspberry Pi 2 module - A holder for the Raspberry Pi 1B module - A storage compartment for a 2.5-inch SDD or HDD - An enclosure for a 60mm fan - An enclosure for a 40mm fan - A module with ventilation holes - Tiny and medium spacers - Bottom and top lids Raspberry Pi Holder Assembly: Similar procedures apply to all Raspberry Pi types. The case accommodates the Pi from above. Internal grooves guide the flanges on USB ports into position. For optimal results, use M2.5 screws for mounting the Pi; however, I used M3 screws due to a lack of M2.5 screws and drilled 3mm holes in the Pi and 2.5mm holes in the holder. Ensure that screws with large heads do not come into contact with the Pi, potentially causing electrical shorts. Fan Holder Assembly: A 12V fan is recommended for quieter operation when paired with a boost converter. This setup involves "boosting" the 5V power from GPIO pins to approximately 9-10 volts and powering the fan from this increased voltage. Alternatively, users can connect a 5V fan directly to GPIO pins, but it will run at full speed. Recommended Boost Converter: https://ebay.us/SoUdvL
