The Snowboard Slide-In

When you snowboard or ski anywhere, you need to use a lift in order to get up on a mountain before you can even start to have fun. However, unlike skiers, snowboarders must unstrap their back foot in order to get on the lift, and then strap it back in once they reach the top and are off the lift. This current process wastes a lot of time that can be spent having fun instead of unstrapping and strapping in your bindings. My product, the Snowboard Slide In, is designed to cut this time in half. On a regular binding there are two straps that hold the foot in place but with my product, a snowboarder will be able to eliminate the upper binding. This product has two main components which are composed of a part that attaches to the boot and a part that attaches to the board. The piece that is on the board will slide into the piece that is on the board and will be responsible for preventing the boot from moving up and down. The lower strap, that already exists on the board, will prevent the boot from falling out of the insert that I have created. With this product, snowboarders will have an easier time strapping in and unstrapping their boots from the board. This will allow for more time to snowboard and have fun on the mountain.
