The Snake And The Saw

Sometimes, all we need to do is let go… before it’s too late… The story: One night a hungry snake slithered into a carpenter's workshop in search of food. The carpenter, notorious for his cluttered workspace, had carelessly left several tools scattered across the floor, including a saw. As the snake navigated the dimly lit shop, he inadvertently climbed over the saw, sustaining a minor cut. Instantly, believing the saw was attacking him, the snake spun around and delivered a vicious bite, resulting in his mouth bleeding profusely. This sparked intense anger within him. He launched another ferocious attack, relentlessly biting the saw until it was drenched in blood and appeared lifeless. Mortally wounded from his own self-inflicted harm, the snake decided to deliver one final, crushing bite before abandoning his assault. The next morning, the carpenter was shocked to discover a lifeless snake lying on his doorstep. Moral of the story: Sometimes, when attempting to harm others, we ultimately end up harming ourselves.
