This is my take on the Slim Wallet of Pentland designs - and I'm thrilled with how it turned out! I wasn't entirely satisfied with what Pentland had created, so I made some adjustments until I was completely happy :). Here are the changes I made: Firstly, I moved the lock and card arm to opposite sides. This streamlined the process for a seamless one-handed experience. Secondly, I added a stop in the hinge that prevents it from turning more than 60 degrees. This ensures you can always push the cards down with ease. Thirdly, I corrected some minor inconsistencies in the thickness of the card arm, which previously caused multiple cards to pop up at the same time. Problem solved! Given this model's need for precise tolerances, I moved the lock pieces upwards for easier movement after printing. Lastly, I removed the hole from the bottom - a feature that was originally intended to crack the arm loose but is no longer needed. If you're left-handed, don't forget to mirror the model :p. Now, let's talk about how to print this beauty: For your printer's sake, it's best to have the arm separate from the rest of the wallet on the build-plate. Once printed, simply insert the arm into the rest of the wallet - and if needed, use a heatgun to soften the plastic for easier insertion.
