prusaprinters

As you know, one of the two most significant channels for the distribution of coronavirus (except for airborne droplets) is infection when you touch infected surfaces (door handles, handrails in vehicles, etc.) with your hands, and then touch your mouth or eyes. This simple device allows you to keep your hands clean and protect them from contact with the virus.

Print instructions

INSTRUCTIONS

Ingredients (Figure 1, Figure 2):
– one plastic bag (or several thin bags inserted one into another),
– a ring printed on a 3D printer,
– printed on a 3D printer rivets (Fixes) - 8 pieces.

Device Assembly:
1) Insert the plastic bag with the neck inside the ring. Tighten the edge around the ring as shown in Figure 3.
2) Fasten the bag to the ring with rivets by inserting them into the holes.
The device is assembled (Figure 4).

Use of the device:
1) Put the bag on your hand, which you will take on dirty surfaces, holding the ring with your second hand (Figure 5).
2) Touch your protected hand through a plastic bag to surfaces (pens, buttons, handrails, etc.) that may be infected with the virus (Figure 6).
3) Having finished the manipulations (by opening the door, pressing a button, etc.), remove the device. To do this, grip the bottom of the bag with your fingers, grasp the ring with your second (clean) hand and remove the device, turning the bag inside out (Figure 7). The dirty surface of the bag will be inside it, and the bag will be clean outside (Figure 8).
4) To re-attach the device, grab the bottom of the bag with your fingers and put on the ring with your second hand, turning the bag back out. In this case, your hand will come into contact with the clean surface of the bag, and the dirty surface will be outside.
5) Upon returning home, replace the bag without turning its dirty surface out. Dispose of the used bag as garbage.

As a result, your hands will remain clean when you remove the device. This will help you avoid infection.
