The Simplest Quest 2 Mount
thingiverse
I wanted to have a simple design that *isn't over engineered*, that is *not a lens scratcher*, that *doesn't turn the headset into a dust catcher*, that *doesn't have a large footprint*, that *isn't labeled*, that *is barely visible when used*, AND that *doesn't press the foam*. **This mount rests only on the inner hard plastic near the nose.** The foam isn't solicited, maybe just 0.5 mm that isn't even in contact with the nose. **The screw holes are 4 mm wide.** I've personally used double sided tape and added hot glue to connect the wall and mount on its sides. _____ **All of my designs have roughly a 0.1 to 0.3 mm offset/compensation for things to fit together** according to how my printer prints. I have no idea if this is a universal problem or not. **Supports on my designs are always minimal if not nonexistent.** Here, a few are needed. The point of this design is to have the layers length going from top to bottom once mounted.
