This 3D model originated from Sketchup 8 and was successfully converted to every other relevant format imaginable. The native file type is .skp, with the accompanying 3dsmax scene set up on 2016's 3ds Max platform, where it got a sleek new look thanks to Vray 3.00 rendering capabilities. I took on this ambitious project as my very first attempt at building an authentic tram, complete with fully detailed seats. Since the wheels and top cable/collector weren't quite accurate to my expectations, they do come pretty close considering my limitations within Sketchup. The wheel design deviates slightly from standard issue, instead reflecting a whole new approach I experimented with for steering system possibilities. Another standout feature is the spiral staircase model, which I cleverly added as a bonus – an impressive first-time accomplishment that's part of this ambitious project. It's worth noting that this open-top tram with its detailed seats marks my first major venture into 3D modeling on such a complex scale.
