The Seven Zhanded Sun Swords of the Soulfire Phoenix During their time in Abeir, the Thayan refugees of the Thayan trade enclave of Balduran Bay expanded into numerous small pockets areas of Anchorome, Katashaka, Lopango, a portion of the transferred Shaar, an old Netherese enclave in orbit. These various groups formed a cooperative that came to be known as the United Tharchs of Toril. Wherever they lived, these "tharchs" sought out new allies amongst their neighboring populaces, for all the races of Toril were in danger from the dragons and primordials of Abeir. When the inhabitants of the Wakanari Hightlands of Katashaka came under assault by a flight of rogue dragons, a wizard of the Katashakan tharch of the Western Pridelands was in their court trying to negotiate the establishment of a trade enclave. Seeing this as an excellent opportunity to show how good of an ally they could be, the wizard reached out to his home tharch and asked them to reach out to the other tharchs and sent help while he set up a teleport beacon. In a rare instance of solidarity, for all had heard of the grand Wakanari Highlands and knew the value in them as allies, wizards, priests, other spellcasters, and their bodyguards flooded the teleport beacon. The battle was long and spread across the countryside. The troops of the tharchs, along with their spellcasting leaders, were cheered as they marched the streets below the sky islands of the councilors. Pa'ratxi, Tucati, Kocratuura, Peakocra, and Ibidean bird folk cheered alongside Tigran, Tabaxi, Lenastan, and other cat folk. The Watili flower folk hung garlands of flowers around the necks of their saviors. However, most surprising of all were the thousands of tiny muislings, who upon seeing the flag of the Tharch of the Western Pridelands, which consisted of a muisling mounted on an al-mi'raj aiming a spear at the open mouth of a tampant snake, took a knee and pledged fealty to the tharchion on the spot. The influx of tiny mousefolk into the tharch would turn the tharch into the largest population of concentrated muislings on the continent. Thankfully, no one looked into who had incited the dragons into attacking when the envoy and his retinue were in the presence of the Council of the Reborn Phoenix. Thankfully, no one questioned how the tharchs were able to so readily provide such large-scale manpower on nearly a moment's notice. Thankfully, no one questioned the fact that no less than three Zulkirs came at the call of the envoy. The trade enclave was negotiated, and the terms were highly favorable for the tharchs. At one point during the battle, one of the phoenix rulers of the Council of the Reborn Phoenix fell to numerous dragons assaulting it. After the battle, this Phoenix was rebirthed, and as a token of gratitude, portions of its egg's shell were given to the leaders of each of the seven tharchs that had responded in aid. The shell pieces possessed some latent power related to fire. The Phoenix Blade of Peleverai is a mithral double-bladed weapon with blue gemstones and has a symbol of Mystra attached to each side of the blade made of carved and magically strengthened sodalite. The Phoenix Blade of Lopango is an adamantine blade with gold symbols of Talos and fiery symbology of Kossuth throughout. The Phoenix Blade of Balduran Bay is a simple double-bladed weapon with a red gemstone and a phoenix head upon its flat black pommel. The Phoenix Blade of Luneira is a steel-bladed scimitar with blue gemstones and has a phoenix symbol attached to each side of the blade made of carved and magically strengthened sodalite. The Phoenix Blade of Esh Alakar is an adamantine blade with little decoration beyond its amethyst gemstones set in a treated brass sun. The Phoenix Blade of New Eltabbar was crafted by the same craftsman who worked on the Luneiran weapon. It possesses a golden phoenix along its darksteel blade with its ruby gemstones. The Phoenix Blade of the Western Pridelands is a slightly wider double-bladed weapon whose weight is offset by having some of the center mass removed. A bit of adamantine is added in this interior for strength, and it's decorated with a phoenix head made of gold. The amber gemstones which decorate this weapon were also part of the reward given to the tharch for their aid.
