The Servo Touched Hero

Notice: There is now an updated version for the v3 modular variant of the Hero available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080865 This remix brings together two impressive projects: 1. Hero v2s - A hot end replacement for Creality Printers (CR-10 / Ender 3 / ...) 2. BFPTouch - An affordable alternative to BLTouch, with even better performance! I merged these designs in Fusion 360 and refined the model in ZBrushCore, making it printable with all slicers. I've included the files used to create this remix. Don't forget to secure the "lock" part of the Hero for proper function. You can test the BFPTouch component before attaching it to the hotend. After verifying its accuracy, remove the optical sensor to make the screw more accessible and then attach everything securely. My probe nozzle distance is 0.5 mm, but I'm using an Olsen Ruby nozzle, which may not fit with the original nozzle. You can adjust the Hero's position or tweak the probe screw for a better fit. Klipper firmware makes setup straightforward, but BLTouch-enabled firmware might not work due to additional servo signals. Visit the BFPTouch source page for more information on its capabilities. Special thanks to the original designers! Remember, this is just a simple remix! P.S.: A short video of it in action can be found here: https://youtu.be/ub_j9i-9jIo
