A painted limestone statue of a scribe at work from Saqqara has been examined. It features rock crystal, magnesite, copper-arsenic alloy for the eyes and wooden nipples. Dating back to the 5th-4th Dynasty (2620-2500 BCE), this artifact measures 53.7 cm in height, 44 cm in width, and 35 cm in depth. The simple scan comprises 57,090 faces.
